Torres Del Paine

Throughout the past 2 months of my travels, I´ve witness a number of people blogging about their adventure. I´m two months in, but am going to attempt to blog the past two month in a few short posts .... and am hoping this isn´t blogging blasphemy.

Upon arriving to Punta Arenas, Chile on Jan 7th I met a young lass named Karen. We had been chatting not even 5 minutes when we decided we would hike the Torres Del Paine W route together. The hike lasted 6 beautiful and slightly painful days - as not only did we not pack the proper amount of food... I also thought it would be a fine idea to break in my new hikers with this hike. Amature move Henderson - I know. We survived with the help of a lovely english couple, Anna and Chris and a big bowl of breakfest porridge.

Now unfortunately I shot most of my pictures in raw - so I can´t access them now, but here are a couple from the hike.

This is Karen and myself at Glacier Grey. Beauty of a team we were!

On the way to Lago Grey.

Karen rocking her first multi-day camping trip!

My feet falling apart - won´t break boots in on a 6 day hike again.

Very rarely is it calm enough to have reflections in the Torres Del Paine!

Forest fire damage from careless tourists.

On our way to the Torres.

Sunrise.

Hiking partners Karen, Chris and Anna - miss you cats!

Glorious.
