Chile-nadian

The group of circus-ed our way to Sangitago, sleeping on too many Copec lawns (gas station) and doing roadside handstands to keep the blood pumping on our long drives. We arrived near Santiago to head to a Arien to set up camp and climb for 2 days.

Harry and Eric had a couple connections in Santiago, Sebastian and Camille. Sebestian was a couch surfer host and Camille was a fellow Canadian living in Chile with her husband, who the boys met climbing. I was quite expressive about how excited I was to spend time with another lady after numerous days with the boys. Brumhilda wasn´t lady like company - she wouldn´t stop peeing on my belongings.

Thankfully I didn´t come off too strong with my new Canadian-cita. After a couple days of climbing we decided we were going to have a night on the town in Santiago. Sebastion being a lovely host put us up for the night out and was it ever a night out! Muchos dancing and cervezas. It´s amazing how quickly relationships are built while traveling. Everthing happens at 10x the speed of normal life.... a few deep conversations with Camille and a sharing of mascara and BLAMO friends!

I was fortunate enough to spend a night at Camille´s chatting with her and her husband Alvaro over cervezas and pizza. I feel blessed to have met much such a rad couple and am looking forward to seeing them this summer!
