Wolf packing

Karen and I stayed in Puerto Natales with a lovely group for two nights after our hike. After much contemplation, Karen decided to join me for a short time in El Chalten. This gal was a trusted travel companion and was always entertaining on bus rides, as she fell asleep within moments of the bus driving. Book in hand, I would look over and she would be out. As a speech therapist, Karen shared the story that some of her case notes have squiggles down the page because sometimes she falls asleep while writing these notes. I can´t get over that story (sorry Karen, had to share). Her and I developed a ´´hoe-mance´´ as we called it.

Karen carried on her adventures solo after a couple days in El Chalten. Here we met up with two lovely fellows name Micah and Noah. I met these boys at the airport in Santiago while desperate to speak to someone in english. Needless to say they taught me potentially everything there is to know about climbing, how to roll a cigarette and that Quilmes is my Argentinian beer of choice.

Checking out Perito Moraino on the way to El Chalten.

El Chalten.

Noah - there´s a lesson in rolling.

View into the park.

The Chilean party campsite - where everyone sang beatles songs in slurred prononciation because they
didn´t actually know the English words.

Fitzy Roy.

Wolf packing.

Doing what these boys do best.... other than smoking rollies.
